I finally submitted my 40 Cloves of Garlic Roast Chicken photo and both Foodgawker and Tastespotting accepted it. Yah me! Very exciting to someone who uses a Kodak Easyshare dinosaur camera. Woot! There’s hope people, there’s hope!

Aw thanks so much. I am so happy to have some accepted. I am determined to improve my photos. It’s the stubborn Irish in me. My camera is a donkey. Seriously it’s old and not in a good vintage kind of way. So there is hope. If I can do it anyone can.

Oh that turtle pie was SO good. Dripping with calories but hey, what can you do. I hadn’t submitted since February, I was getting so bummed about all the denials. So happy to get a yes. Felt really nice.
