Lunatic Loves These Links- June 14

Malia Approved Lunatic Loves

Today we spent the afternoon watching B-Dude graduate from University. More to come on that in the coming days. We also went out for dinner.

This is where I realized I could whip up a better steak than Applebee’s any day of the week. And I’ll be honest, I could feed 12-16 people on what it cost us for 4 people there. Geez, seriously they need to up their steak game. Was okay, but nothing to write home about. But we had fun so it’s all good. Nothing like a day with the family. I am off now to watch a movie with everyone. Rarely does it happen that all 4 of us can spend a whole day together so going to take advantage of it and take the rest of the day off blogging. I’ll be back tomorrow with a doozy of a recipe for you all!

Please welcome this week’s recap of what I’ve been cooking up in the asylum. Hope you’ve enjoyed the past week as much as my bellah has! Also you’ll get the chance to see what I’ve bookmarked this week. It’s been a great week on the blogosphere. So sit back, kick off your shoes and enjoy!

This week is a party post that caught my eye. Those who know me well know that I have a horse. She’s pictured on the blog a couple of times and in my profile photo. So when I saw this Girly and Pink Vintage Pony Party I just about lost my marbles. It’s so cute and so adorable that I want to be 8 years old again so someone can throw it for me. It’s the coolest little party you could throw for us pony lovers. So glad I came across it.

Bakingdom- Cherry Limeade

Hopefully tons of replacement photos for all the pics I lost in the horrible Google Plus incident!

A finale to Fun with Jars as Farm Fresh Fridays takes its place for the summer!

A surprise personal post, with some pics!

Father’s Day brings a recipe I made for my dad that to date I’ve never shared on the blog. It’s pretty spectacular!

Ice Cream of course!

Meatless Monday!

Lunatic Loves will be moving to Tuesdays next week. I don’t care for it being so close to Meatless Mondays. I think having a gap between that and the grill recipes that include meat would be the appropriate thing to do. So Give a Girl a Grill will move to Thursdays next week!

Another edition of Burning Down The Kitchen. Hint- it’s someone you all know and love!

A long overdue giveaway winner!

Toodles and smoochies! xx

You are so welcome. That cake was amazing. Would love to work with you one day. Fun and food, doesn’t get much better than that.

Hi, KimB!!! CONGRATS to B!!!! I know what you mean about restaurant steaks. But it’s nice to be waited on, right??? And I’ve missed so much deliciousness this week (and last)…except for those MARVELOUS smoothie cheesecake bars :) :) xxxx

Thanks Liz. I love the waiting on part but it’s funny how I’m always thinking I could do that for less at home. Luckily we don’t go out much. I’d drive myself batty. Those bars are so being made again. I am going to make them for B’s going away party.

Thanks for including me in the loved links. Funny, I actually thought of you when I made those bars….’czuse of the cereal and all. Can’t promise they will get to FBF….there are so many days of baking between now and then.

Congrats to the B-dude and all of you for making it through to graduation. New adventures on the horizon and all that.

You are most welcome. Awe, I love when people think of me…and it’s a good thing, not a call to the police or anything. I need to keep a list going. I want to bring you my fudge. It’s so good.

Thanks. I am getting cynical, he’s graduated so many times now. Lol. One more to go and he’ll finally be done.

Congratulations to the proud parents!! What a wonderful accomplishment for your son and family! :) Love the roundup and links as always! :) Have a wonderful weekend! ~ Ramona

Thanks so much Ramona. It’s so cool to see them hit their goals. He’s off soon for his last degree, this should be the hardest but he’s living out his dream so it’s all good.

Enjoy your weekend as well. I may hide inside this weekend. Sticky and hot out there.

Omg it was like nothing special at all. It said it was smothered in garlic butter but I barely tasted garlic at all. Tiny piece of steak and not seasoned well. So disappointed. Thanks for stopping by my dear. Miss you lately. We need to catch up.
