I love making classic sugar cookies with holiday color sprinkles. It’s something that my daughter enjoys helping me make.

  2. Angele says

It isn’t the holidays without my mom’s trays of cookies – peanut butter blossoms, crinkle cookies, bourbon balls, spritzer cookies, and my favorites, walnut balls.

  3. Alesha says

I love making our family recipe for 2 types of sugar cookies and the peanut butter blossoms that my dad had when he was a boy that his mother made. I now make them as part of his christmas gift!

I love to make chocolate crinkle cookies using a cake mix. They come together so quickly, making them perfect for holiday parties, cookie swaps, and gifting.

  5. Ann says

Cooking baking is one of my favorite things. I especially love challenging recipes. But my favorite cookie to make is a bar cookie with fruit filling and crumb/nut topping.

I don’t really have a favorite cookie to bake for the Holidays, but I like gingerbread, snickerdoodles, and chocolate chip. Mint brownies are yummy too! HUGS!

  8. Kathy J says

I do an italian almond macaroon topped with a chocolate buttercream and the top is covered in chocolate. These freeze fantastically so great to do ahead!

Peanut butter sandwiched between two Ritz crackers and then coated in chocolate. My grandpa used to make them with me every Christmas and now my sister and I make them

My mom’s sugar cookie recipe, because it’s a family tradition to decorate together–and the cookies are really good!

  11. Carol Peters says

I would bake my grandmother’s best cookies. It’s called “Everyday Cookies”. It’s my entire family’s favorite.

  12. Kelley Jose says

I love holiday baking so it’s hard to pick just one favorite! But, the holidays wouldn’t be the same if I didn’t bake at least one batch of “Cream Wafers”. They are a delicate little sandwich cookie with tinted butter cream frosting! Yum!

  13. Nikki says

I’m new to cookie decorating and am dying to start on Christmas cookies for my kids school! My kids love my ‘mistakes’ as I learn lol

  14. Deb Deagle says

I make raspberry pinwheels and fig pinwheels. I use the same old recipes that my grandmother got from a magazine at the beauty parlor back in the 1960s. That was back in the day when ladies went to the beauty parlor once a week to have their hair washed and set, and they sat under the martian-looking metal helmet hair dryers, sharing gossip and recipes. My nana put together a treasured booklet containing the recipes she borrowed or stole over the years….most of which came via the beauty parlor. Each year I pull out her book, smile, and start cracking eggs.

  15. says

My favorite cookie to bake during the holidays are peanut butter blossoms. I can remember making them with both my mother and grandmother growing up. My middle daughter is severely allergic to peanut butter though so these days I use a peanut butter substitute and it’s close enough 😉 Thanks for such an AWESOME week of cookies and giveaways!
