I just had to try them. I loved Not Martha’s so much when I seen them. Not to hard to make either, time consuming but not difficult.

Thanks Dionne. I just loved them when I saw them so I had to make them. I’ll be making more closer to Christmas.

This are totally adorable. I can’t wait to make some for my sweet granddaughters! (and me and my daughter, lol)

Thanks. I want to make a big batch for Christmas Eve. I have to say the gingerbread recipe I used is fabulous too. It didn’t spread too much, and it didn’t break. I was really impressed with it. Usually lots of Martha Stewart’s recipes fail but this one is a keeper.

Thanks John. I had so much fun making them. They are too cute for words. I just need to make them a tad smaller without sacrificing the integrity of the building. Ha! Words you don’t expect a food blogger to say over a recipe.

Thanks. We make gingerbread villages every year so this wasn’t quite as hard as I thought it would be. We usually do ours with bases made from mini milk containers but these glued perfectly. I can’t wait to make more.

What an adorable idea! I can’t wait to make these tomorrow, put in cellophane bags with a fancy coffee mug and gourmet bag of coffee beans for my child’s teachers!

Just pack carefully. Hopefully they don’t break. That’s always my fear with houses. Such a cute teacher gift though. You are amazing to do that.

Thanks Valerie. I just had to try them out. Wait till you see our village. B gets in on the 16th so hopefully we’re at it by the 17th or 18th. We do a whole town and each of us does their own house. So much fun.

These are super adorable! & the giveaway is so cool! But can we maybe throw in someone to wash all the dishes when I’m done with my baking?

Now this is the most clever idea I’ve seen yet this holiday season! How neat! Thank you for sharing. And thank you for this great giveaway opportunity! I love all the products!

Thanks, when I saw them I knew it was something I had to try. They just look so cute on the mugs. Tedious but worth it.

Good luck. I love OXO. Great company, I love that they give back to the community. They do a lot of fundraisers which always impresses me.

Thanks Glenda. We found the mug in Walmart or Shoppers I believe. We have a westie so I bought the mug for my hubs. Lol.

      Good luck.

Omg I want pictures of that. That is hilarious. I can see my family doing that too.

Sooo….FBC in Vancouver next year. If I can swingaling it we may be meeting next October. If not before if you’re doing any others. The downside is my sister moved to Alberta this summer so doing double duty on the visit is out. Looks like I’ll fly to Vancouver for the weekend, then maybe pop over to Alberta for a few days before coming home. I’m going to try to kill two birds with one stone. Well, three if you count my son being Alberta too. Can’t wait to meet you.

Thanks so much Bernice. I am so loving these houses. I plan on making a whole subdivision full of them for Christmas Eve.

I hear ya. I am just itching to get going on our gingerbread village but my son doesn’t get home from school till the 16th. So we aren’t even getting our real tree till the 17th. Then it’s baking bonanza time. Lol.

Those are so cute! maybe we can get away with a small village rather than an over-candied big house! (minus the squabbling about who gets to put what candy where! SCORE! :))
