These 2-Ingredient Cat-Friendly Frozen Banana Bites are the perfect way to treat your cat all year long. They are super easy to make and cats will gobble them right up. Yes, they are dog-friendly treats too. Our pooches love them!
Cat-Friendly Frozen Banana Bites are so much fun to make for your furkids! Seriously, we love making treats for our cats. We have 4 ragdoll cats and they are all pretty adventurous with food.
Honestly, we love DIY projects and I look at making pet treats as a fun activity for the entire family. And, the kids can get involved in making them which is so fun.
I love coming up with fun recipes my cats can have. Let's be honest, dogs get all the love when it comes to treats. So, this girl likes to focus on making treats for cats too.
Our cats LOVE banana as a treat. One of our kitties is obsessed with banana.
Most cats love banana and in small doses it's good for them. I used a tiny heart fudge mold for this recipe so each treat was small enough to be a treat and not a whole meal.
Our cats gobble them up. I made 3 different versions. In addition to the one that had the cat food on the bottom, I also made one that had it on the top. And lastly, one was banana only. And, the youngest kitten gets banana only.
The adult cats get the treats with cat food in it. They love them and can't wait when I pop the treats out of the mold. I love spoiling them with homemade treats.
They are super easy to make. You just blend the bananas and pour them into a candy mold. Then you simply freeze them with or without cat food. It's seriously THAT easy.

To clarify, they are dog-friendly too. We have two pups who want in on the banana action so I always make puppy-friendly versions when I make these too. It's how we roll.
All of our pets are spoiled rotten and I'm okay with that. In fact, I'm completely cool with it. We love them so much. They are our family and we treat them as such.
My life would not be the same without all my pets. We have 4 cats, 2 pups, and a horse and 3 fur-grandkids. I love them all so much. Since I work from home they're my constant companions.
I totally dig making them fun treats like these Cat-Friendly Frozen Banana Bites. It's a fun project for summer!

What a great homemade treat for the kitties (yours are beautiful by the way!). I agree, there is not enough fun stuff out there for cats and they need more attention! Can't wait to try these for my furbabies!

Your cats are adorable! But I can never resist kitty pictures. Good thing they invented the internet so we can all share ours! 🙂 Anyway, terrific idea -- never made cat treats before. My cat demands to know why I haven't!

Hope they love it. You can make it with bone broth too if you have cats that can't tolerate yogurt.

Can you substitute the banana with any other fruit?

We use blueberries for our dogs. Apples (remove seeds), pears (remove seeds), strawberries and watermelon (seedless) are all good too.
Never use grapes though!Just in case you didn't know, they are super toxic to pets.
I'll be sharing some new treats soon. One uses goat milk and blueberries. Our pets love them.
