My contributions to Christmas Week!

Hi folks.

This week was a whirlwind of Christmas goodies. Christmas Week was a huge success and I hope we inspired you all to get into your kitchens and start your holiday baking. There are so many amazing recipes to get your creative juices flowing. I thought I’d recap the week for anyone who just tuned in or missed it. Hope you enjoy. I know I sure did. I may have to wear stretchy pants for the next month the way things are going.

MY LATEST VIDEOS

When I decided I wanted to try my hand at a multi-blogger event I knew I had to have an accomplice. These things are always more fun when you have someone to bounce ideas off of and laugh with when things go haywire. I had the pleasure of co-hosting this event with Jen of Juanita’s Cocina. Jen is amazing to work with. She is thoughtful and kind, super helpful and catches any mistakes I make when I don’t get enough sleep. The woman is a dynamo. She’s also an amazing cook.

We invited a wonderful group of bloggers to join us. Lizzy of That Skinny Chick Can Bake, Isabelle of Crumb, Kristen of Frugal Antics of a Harried Homemaker, Anuradha of Baker Street, Erin of Dinners, Dishes, and Desserts, Erin of Spiffy Cookie, Ramona of Curry and Comfort, Heather of Girlichef, Cathy of The Dutch Baker’s Daughter, and Chung-Ah of Damn Delicious. Every single one of them stepped up in a big way. I am so thrilled they all joined us and it was an absolute pleasure working with each of them.

Each day had a theme we worked within and each blogger was free to have at it within the theme. We did this for 5 consecutive days and let me just say it is a ton of work to post every day. Yet these ladies did it and did it with style.

I haven’t touched sweets in a week. I’ll have to amp it up next week again since my son is flying in.

Thanks John. I had to lay off sweets for awhile after this week. I never thought I’d burn out on sugar but apparently it’s possible.
