Wild Blueberry Mojitos
These are great for summer on the patio, a fancy little get-together (nothing says fancy like muddled mint, right?), or even just a treat for you and your partner!
Ingredients
  • ΒΌ cup wild blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 10 mint leaves + sprigs for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 10 cubes ice
  • 4 slices lime for garnish
  • Lemon-lime soda to top off the drink
Instructions
  1. Muddle mint leaves, lime juice, simple syrup, rum, and blueberries in a glass (or cocktail shaker) to release the oil and flavour from the mint into the lime juice and get some of the juices from the blueberries and skin.
  2. Divide between glasses and pour over ice. Add blueberries, mint, and lime to glasses, and top off with a splash of lemon-lime soda in each glass.
  3. Recipe makes two tall drinks, but can be divided among 4 short glasses (although I recommend upping the booze for extra fun).
