Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  • Line a rimmed cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt butter and pour on pan. Spread out with a pastry brush or offset spatula.
  • In a mixing bowl beat eggs (a mixer works beautifully) with a whisk until they become foamy. Add sugar, cinnamon, and salt, mix until well combined.
  • Toss pecans in the mixture and mix until well coated. Pour onto cookie sheet and spread out evenly.
  • Place in the preheated 300 degree F oven and bake for 25 minutes, making sure to mix them periodically. My recommendation for making sure they cook perfectly is to use this schedule:
  • Place in oven and bake for 10 minutes!
  • Remove briefly from the oven, stir them really well, place back in oven and bake for 8 minutes!
  • Remove from the oven, stir them really well, place back in oven and bake for 7 minutes!
  • Remove from oven, stir and allow to cool!
  • I've made them several times at different temperatures and cooking times and the 300 degree F oven and baking for 10, then 8, then 7 minutes worked perfectly.
  • Cool for 15 minutes.
  • Serve with a big old cinnamon pecan loving smile and some yellow flowers!
