Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups Bisquick
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • ¾-1 cup evaporated milk regular will do
  • filling:
  • 4 tsp sweetened condensed milk
  • cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp chopped pecans
  • icing:
  • 24 caramel candies unwrapped
  • 2 Tbsp evaporated milk regular will do

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick, cocoa and sugar until well blended.
  • Add the milk until a fairly stiff dough forms.
  • Roll the dough out on a floured surface to a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  • Spread the dough with sweetened condensed milk and then sprinkle evenly with chocolate chips and pecans.
  • Roll up and slice into 12 rolls.
  • Place into a greased 9 inch round pan.
  • Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 18-20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven to cool.
  • While the rolls are cooling, place caramels and 2 Tbsp milk into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, stir.
  • If the mixture is not smooth, heat it for 30 seconds more.
  • Spoon the caramel deliciousness over each roll.
  • There will be enough to totally smother them or to lightly drizzle them with caramel according to your tastes.
