Chocolate Hot Fudge Root Beer Float

Chocolate Ice Cream, Hot Fudge Sauce and A&W® Root Beer combine for the ultimate Root Beer Float. This is incredibly easy to make, and utterly impossible to resist.

  • Warm the hot fudge sauce slightly. You want it warm, but not hot. Use a spatular or butter knife to spread about half of it on the inside of the glasses randomly. Pour a little on the bottom of the glass, then just swipe it here and there on the inside. It looks nice and it adds extra chocolate flavour to the float.
  • Place 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream in each glass. Pour the rest of the hot fudge sauce over top.
  • Now pour the A&W Root Beer over top of each glass slowly. It will fizz up so don't overfill. Pour, wait a bit, pour more.
  • Enjoy with a big old A&W Root Beer Float loving smile!
