A wonderful black forest ice cream recipe.

In a stand mixer combine chocolate milk, brown sugar, cocoa and salt. Whisk until sugar dissolves.
Add the heavy cream and vanilla and mix until creamy.
Cover and set in fridge for about an hour, or overnight.
Transfer liquid to your frozen ice cream maker bowl, place on machine and turn on for about 10 to 15 minutes until it starts to thicken.
Add your cherries and chocolate chips and turn on just long enough to mix them in.
You can serve immediately or place in the freezer until you want it.
Serve with a big old black forest smile!
