A wonderful black forest ice cream recipe.

  • In a stand mixer combine chocolate milk, brown sugar, cocoa and salt. Whisk until sugar dissolves.
  • Add the heavy cream and vanilla and mix until creamy.
  • Cover and set in fridge for about an hour, or overnight.
  • Transfer liquid to your frozen ice cream maker bowl, place on machine and turn on for about 10 to 15 minutes until it starts to thicken.
  • Add your cherries and chocolate chips and turn on just long enough to mix them in.
  • You can serve immediately or place in the freezer until you want it.
  • Serve with a big old black forest smile!
