Kalua Pulled Pork Pizza| Burning Down The Kitchen with Try Anything Once
This Pulled Pork Pizza has a Hawaiian flair. The topping is Kalua Pulled Pork made in a slow cooker. Super easy to make and very versatile.
Ingredients
  • 1 pizza dough either store bought or plain homemade dough or spicy homemade dough
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce store bough or you can use my recipe
  • 1 to 2 cup pizza mozzarella more or less depending how cheesy you like your pizza
  • 1 cup of prepared kalua pulled pork or any other pulled pork you are fond of
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to about 450 degrees F.
  2. Spray a pizza pan with non-stick spray. Set aside.
  3. Roll out or hand stretch your dough. Lay evenly on pizza pan. Use your hands to shape it and give your pizza a nice thick crust.
  4. Poke a few holes in the dough with a fork.
  5. Spread the sauce evenly over top.
  6. Toss the cheese over the sauce evenly.
  7. Top with pulled pork.
  8. Place in the oven on the bottom rack so your pizza bottom cooks nicely, and allow to cook for about 8 to 12 minutes. The bottom should be brown (you can check by sticking a spatula under and lifting slightly to peek). The top should have the cheese bubbling and starting to brown just slightly.
  9. Remove, and use a pizza wheel or pizza rocker to cut into slices.
  10. Serve with a big old Kalua Pork loving smile!

I want all my readers to know that while cooking from scratch is awesome when you have time, it's also completely okay to use store bought items when needed. Never let anyone guilt you into thinking otherwise. This is a judgement free zone. If you want to do the dough or sauce from scratch I'm providing links for you to do so. If not, Pillsbury makes a great dough if you need to cut down on time. Any pizza sauce will do, just add a dash of sugar and basil to it.
