Easy Apple Sangria

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 750 milliliters white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio
  • ½ cup Cointreau or any orange liqueur
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples thinly sliced, core discarded
  • 2 medium Gala apples thinly sliced, core discarded
  • 2 medium oranges thinly slices, seeds discarded
  • 3 cinnamon sticks more or less to taste
  • 750 milliliters sparkling water

Instructions

  • First, pour the wine into the pitcher. Then, add Cointreau and mix well. Set aside.
  • Next, slice the apples and oranges into thin slices and place in the pitcher randomly. Discard cores and seeds. Peels can be left on, if desired.
  • Grab 3 cinnamon sticks and toss into the pitcher.
  • Pour the sparkling water into the pitcher. Mix well.
  • Give the sangria one last good stir and then place it in the fridge. Chill the sangria for about two hours.
  • Serve or save for later!

Notes

This recipe yields 10 glasses of wine. Serving size for the nutritional information is for one glass of wine. 
You can easily substitute red wine if you prefer it.
