You’ll love this recipe for red velvet sweet rolls, loaded with chocolate, with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, then slathered with a vanilla glaze!
Oh baby, these Red Velvet Sweet Rolls are so freaking amazing. The dough for this is a staple recipe I use for a ton of my recipes. It’s made in the bread machine so it’s super easy.
If you don’t have a bread machine you can adapt this recipe and make dough in your mixer or food processor. The biggest change will be swapping bread machine yeast out for instant yeast if you go that route.
I love using my bread machine for dough. I probably have it whirring up a storm 3 or 4 times per week. Most of the time I use it for pizza dough. On occasion I also use it for dough for sweet rolls, and hot cross buns.
Bread machines are something I think everyone should invest in. Not only can you make bread in them but they work awesome for dough for baking and for pasta. Honestly it’s the small appliance that ties with my stand mixer in terms of money well spent.
You can find the recipe for these scrumptious Red Velvet Sweet Rolls over at Real Housemoms. You’re going to want to make this as soon as possible. In fact you should probably run into the kitchen right now and get crackalacking on these.
This was my last contributor post to Real Housemoms. So this is the last time I’ll be asking you to click over there for a recipe. I know a lot of blog readers really dislike having to click away for recipes. Sometimes it’s unavoidable, particularly if working with companies.
The big reason for leaving was my health. My regulars likely noticed I haven’t been posting as much over the last few months. I’ve had some serious health issues I’ve been dealing with. So keeping up with everything became impossible.
I made the tough decision to give up an extra work that was pulling my focus away from my health and my own blogs. Any contributor posts that were volunteer positions, and not paid gigs, had to be the first to go.
It took me some time to get up the courage to start putting myself first. I’m not good at it. I am a people pleaser by nature, so having to quit jobs was extremely difficult for me. Yet with health concerns continuing to loom I had absolutely no choice.
So I put on my big girl panties and walked away from 3 part-time gigs. It was so hard for me but I know it has already reduced my stress level considerably. If I have a bad health day it only affects me now, I’m not letting anyone else down. That’s huge for me right now.
Not only that but I can totally focus on my own blogs now. I’ve been feeling fabulous the past month or more, so I’ve been cooking up a storm lately. You’ll also be seeing my other blog, Kiss My Smoke, amp back up next week. I’m back grilling like mad now which makes me so happy.
I’m so sad to be leaving the Real Housemoms family though. The community amongst the contributors is amazing. Such a great group of ladies. It was an absolute pleasure working with the RH team. I’m miss everyone bunches.
Remember to swing over to Real Housemoms to grab the recipe for these perfect Red Velvet Sweet Rolls!! Thanks to Aubrey for being such a fabulous boss. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the RH team.
