Grilled Pizza and a Pic of Me!

Hi folks. I know you are all so excited for the pic but hang on now. Calm down. I think etiquette should be you have to read my post and see the food first. Sorry to disappoint you. You'll have to listen to me ramble on and on and on and on....where was I going with this....oh and on and on and on before we get to that.So I got home late from the barn and of course did not prep any pizza toppings earlier in the day. I was busy people, doing uber important things. I mean the Internet cannot possibly exist without me can it??? I mean I was doing super duper important things like....er....um....okay so I didn't do anything today. But I meant to okay, so that has to count for something. A for effort and all that. I meant to be productive and that should count is all I'm saying.Anyways I was cranky and moody as no one was helping. Yes I know I hate people helping. But sometimes you just want people to offer. Okay so they did and I bit their heads off but still, they should be helping. If I would let them.Whatever!  I do confess to Kiana helping me with the door, and C (hubby) did grate half the cheese. I mean he whined the whole time but he did it right. Okay he didn't whine but he looked like he was gonna whine so that's bad enough right. He had intent to whine so I say that still counts as a whine. I think Bray muttered something or rolled his eyes, till I bit his head off. I mean if you're gonna roll your eyes you deserve your head being bit off right. I mean I swear I thought I saw him roll his eyes. I'm almost sure of it. I mean he could have just been taking off his glasses but he had intent to roll his eyes. I'm almost sure of it. Intent to roll your eyes is the same as rolling them I say. So if you're gonna almost roll your eyes, or take off your glasses you deserve to get your head bit off right.

Okay so I was really, uber, super duper moody tonight. But I was hungry. So that makes it okay right? No? Really? Hmm, maybe I should apologize. Or intend to. Right?!

So here's din-din. It was made with care and love and hugs and kisses. Okay so it was slapped together in a fit of rage and hunger. I intended to make it with care and love and.....whatever!

    Kim's Pizza Dough:

See this for plain dough http://cravingsofalunatic.blogspot.com/2011/03/kims-pizza.html

Basil and Oregano Garlic Dough (bread maker):

    Ingredients:

1 cup water (beer is a good in it too)
    1 tablespoon shortening
2 tablespoons sugar (you can cut it to 1)
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 and ¾ cups flour
1 and ½ teaspoon bread machine yeast
1 tablespoon basil (you can cut in half)
1 tablespoon oregano (you can cut in half)
½ tablespoon garlic powder (you can cut in half)

    Directions:

Place all ingredients in order into the baking pan.

Select dough setting and turn machine on.

When ready remove and set in a bowl or container and let rise a bit more, say 30 minutes or so.

    Ready to roll.

TIP: I find if I put my dough in fridge for a bit it spreads and rolls out easier. I like it better after it's been in fridge overnight. You can use this dough for up to 2 days. It can also be frozen.

    Kim's Grilled Pizza:

    Ingredients:

Pizza dough, I used one plain dough and one spiced dough
Pizza sauce, I use tomato sauce and add a bit of sugar
    Pepperoni, cut into pieces
    Ham, cut into pieces
Mozzarella cheese, I used one large bar of it, shredded

    Directions:

Spray your grill with non stick spray prior to using or brush with olive oil.

    Turn grill on to preheat.

Roll out your dough into small pieces so you can slide it on grill.

Set dough on a board you can slide it off of onto grill.

    Add sauce to taste.

    Add cheese to taste.

Add pepperoni and ham to taste.

Slide onto grill and cook until bottoms are brown and cheese is melted. I think about 8 to 10 minutes each.

If using a pizza stone double this time.

    Take off and cut up.

    Serve.

So yummy! I have to say there is a learning curve when putting it on and taking it off the grill. If anyone has any advice on how to do it without a total mess please let me know. I made a huge mess. Everywhere!!! I need something to slide it on and off with. Had a terrible time figuring out how to do it without making a horrible mess. But messy= yummy in my book. Hope you try this one out. Was very good and worth all the effort.

Toodles a.....oh yah... I promised a pic didn't I? Are you sure I said that? Okay, okay here you go...

Photos missing due to a G+ incident. They will be replace soon.

not liking the red the hair dresser pulled in my hair. At all. I'm usually very blond. I really am not happy with it. So there you go. A pic of me as promised. Enjoy!

    Toodles and smoochies! xx

Loved reading your funny post...also crazy about the yummy pizza dough recipe in the bread maker, which I am trying out today. The addition of the herbs, and garlic really adds such zip to it.
      Yummy grilled pizza, as well!
Your kitty is sooo adorable...somehow I knew it wasn't going to be you, when I scrolled down...LOL
Thanks for the follow, followed you back:D

roflmao. I scrolled down first too. Your kitten is too cute...and I agree with Jen. The pizzas looked soooooo yummy. RI has not decent pizza. Since moving here, I've started to consider Dominos good pizza. And that makes my NY soul cry.

And if the intent to roll one's eyes equals head being chewed off...yikes. I would not have a head.

Dave- Hm, I think I am intending to bite your head off. lol

Tina- Lol, I should have. I had no idea when I titled it that it was going in this direction. But it was the natural flow of things. I may have to rename it. Thanks for coming by and the buzz.

Elizabeth- Thanks so much. I thought herbs would add some life to it. May try others next time. Plus it just looks awesome. I like to tease people with pics. I cannot help myself. Glad to have you here.

Amy- Cas is such a cutie. Love him to bits. We don`t have very good pizza here either. I grew up going to Quebec and they have fabulous pizza. So I have to make my own alot. But I like thin crust and they like thick so I make alot of pizzas. Lol, I would never bite your head off. Or intend to. lol
