Mini Gingerbread House Hot Chocolate Mug Perches
Aren't these adorbs?
I flipping love these things.
They make me super happy.
So did Katrina of In Katrina's Kitchen when she asked me to participate in I'll Bring the COOKIES 2013. It's her third annual virtual blogger cookie event and I'm thrilled to be involved. She will be posting a new cookie recipe every day in December leading up to Christmas. You can follow along with the hashtag #BringtheCOOKIES to keep up to date on all the cookie goodness.
So today I'm sharing this cute mini gingerbread house hot chocolate mug perches on In Katrina's Kitchen.

What an adorable idea! So creative!
Kim Beaulieu
I just had to try them. I loved Not Martha's so much when I seen them. Not to hard to make either, time consuming but not difficult.
Itzia
the gingerbread house is so cute!
Kim Beaulieu
Thanks so much.
Dionne Baldwin
These are DEFINITELY adorbs! I need to have these, if only to gaze upon their cuteness. I have a table in my living room that these would be cute on...until I eat them up.
Kim Beaulieu
Thanks Dionne. I just loved them when I saw them so I had to make them. I'll be making more closer to Christmas.
Rita Reedy
This are totally adorable. I can't wait to make some for my sweet granddaughters! (and me and my daughter, lol)
Kim Beaulieu
Thanks. I want to make a big batch for Christmas Eve. I have to say the gingerbread recipe I used is fabulous too. It didn't spread too much, and it didn't break. I was really impressed with it. Usually lots of Martha Stewart's recipes fail but this one is a keeper.
Grace O
That's it. I really DO need a bigger mug!! A serving size is 2....right? 🙂
Kim Beaulieu
Or 4, I mean it is the Christmas season right.
John@Kitchen Riffs
Really cute! I haven't seen those before. Great giveaway too - thanks.
Kim Beaulieu
Thanks John. I had so much fun making them. They are too cute for words. I just need to make them a tad smaller without sacrificing the integrity of the building. Ha! Words you don't expect a food blogger to say over a recipe.
Wehaf
These look so good! I'm impressed with the amount of work that goes into them.
Kim Beaulieu
Thanks. We make gingerbread villages every year so this wasn't quite as hard as I thought it would be. We usually do ours with bases made from mini milk containers but these glued perfectly. I can't wait to make more.
Sandy Headtke
How you come up with all these ideas is amazing
Kim Beaulieu
I take no credit for this one. I just saw something I liked and went with it. lol
Terri B
My kids would love these gingerbread houses for their hot chocolate!
Kim Beaulieu
You should totally try them.
Theresa Truslow
What an adorable idea! I can't wait to make these tomorrow, put in cellophane bags with a fancy coffee mug and gourmet bag of coffee beans for my child's teachers!
Kim Beaulieu
Just pack carefully. Hopefully they don't break. That's always my fear with houses. Such a cute teacher gift though. You are amazing to do that.
Valerie | From Valerie's Kitchen
Kim, these are super cute. What a clever and creative idea!
Kim Beaulieu
Thanks Valerie. I just had to try them out. Wait till you see our village. B gets in on the 16th so hopefully we're at it by the 17th or 18th. We do a whole town and each of us does their own house. So much fun.
Rachel M
These are super adorable! & the giveaway is so cool! But can we maybe throw in someone to wash all the dishes when I'm done with my baking?
Kim Beaulieu
Ha, I need my son to move back. He was such a good dishwasher.
Thanks Rachel. xx
