Another quickie. These were easy as I used store bought cookies and ice cream. I will be doing home made ones in the future. Just need to get my ice cream maker. Still torn between two choices so hopefully by the end of next week I'll have one picked out and whirring up a storm. In the meantime I just did these up quick for the kids that came to Kiana's grad party. I would suggest not letting the ice cream soften too much if using sprinkles. The colours will bleed a bit if you do. Does not affect the taste but just the look of them. So here you go. Enjoy!Super Quick Ice Cream Sandwiches:Ingredients:1 bag of chocolate chip cookies (I used the decadent ones)
    Vanilla ice cream
    Sprinkles

    Directions:

Let ice cream soften a little bit.

Put a small scoop of ice cream on a cookie, take the second and press them together.

Put sprinkles in a bowl so you can dip without too much mess.

Take the ice cream sandwich and dip the ends in the sprinkles.

Put them in the freezer to harden back up a bit.

    Serve.

Enjoy and make sure you have some napkins handy.

    Toodles and smoochies! xx

Photos missing due to a G+ incident. They will be replace soon.

Last time my little nieces came for a sleepover, I got them to make banana splits for dessert. Next time, I'll get them to make these really cute desserts. So long as it has icecream and sprinkles they are happy little girls so this totally fits the bill.

My ice cream maker has yet to stop whirring this summer and I have tons of vanilla ice cream that is just dying to be sandwiched in between two cookies. Also- I love sprinkles.

Hester- They'd love them. They are fun to make and super messy. Had to sweep up after I was done.lol

Care- They'd have a ball. And the possibilities are endless with these things.

Sarah- Good to know it's a good investment. Would love to know which brand you use. I'm thinking the cuisinart 1.5 size.

This first attempt was messy and not refined at all. I think I may do better on the next batch. Which will be soon. These things are so fun and inexpensive to make. I'm hooked. lol
