Top 10 Main Course Recipes by Cravings of a Lunatic

My Dad loved food. The man really, really loved food. He could eat his weight at any meal and still have room for dessert. My hubs in the same way. It sort of drives me nuts really. I wish I could eat with that much gusto and never gain a pound.

    You men have it easy.

    But it's all good.

I love that the men in my life love to eat. I mean let's face it, I love to cook. So it's win-win for everyone.

I've been crazy busy travelling to conferences so I haven't been cooking or baking as much as usual. Hard to be in the kitchen when you're never home. I look forward to getting in there this weekend and whipping up lots of great recipes. Conference season is over for me for a little bit. Taking a 12 week hiatus to deal with some health issues. So the men in my life get to eat like kings for the next 12 weeks. Yah for hiatus time.

I was pondering what to whip up for my hubs for Fathers Day this year. So I thought I'd put together a Top 10 list of foods the men in my life love. Hope you enjoy!

Have a great weekend everyone. Hope this gives you some inspiration for Fathers Day. It sure is coming up fast.

Make sure you tune in on Fathers Day this year. I'm hosting an event with Jen of Juanita's Cocina. We've invited some of our friends to join us for a multi-blogger event to raise awareness for cancer and shine some light on hospice and the cancer society. We've got an amazing prize lined up for the event and look forward to sharing our personal stories with you. Cancer affects so many lives and it's great to be able to reach out to one another and share our experiences. To me that's what life is all about. Connecting and bonding with others.

Good stuff, Kim. I'd gotten so wrapped up in my birthday feast (this Sunday) that I forgot about Father's Day. Two straight weekends of being pampered! Life is good!

KimB, they all look tempting, but I think my dad would love your dad's spicy lasagne!

That top photo makes my mouth water every time I see it. And the rest of the round up dishes are just as tempting. We're heading home for about a week before we head out again...I plan a Kim Bee type cooking day where I crank out all the dishes for the next two weeks (remind me to take your lead and stop doing so many monthly events!!!). Let's chat about Mixed when I get home 🙂
