Okay these little beauties make me so happy. You all know I have a serious weakness for anything Black Forest in nature. It's a love affair I'm not going to hide. I'm going to yell it from the rooftops. I LOVE BLACK FOREST! Whether it's cheesecake, no bake cheesecake, ice cream, trifles or these cute little bites, I don't care. I just need a good black forest fix every now and then.

I saw these little cutie-pies on the Kraft Kitchen site. Their version is diabetic friendly. I was so impressed with how pretty they were that I threw out my plans to make a healthy guest post for Dara of Generation Y Foodie and decided to just be my usual indulgent, crazy self. My bites are not the diabetic friendly version. But they are sugar whore friendly. So basically that means I can eat as many as I want.

Dara is a total sweetheart so when she asked me to guest post for her I jumped up and down then panicked when I realized healthy food was probably the way to go. But Dara encouraged me to make whatever my little heart desired so this is what I did. I love that they are so simple. I also love that if you want to healthy them up you totally can.

I made them the day I was running off to Toronto so when I got home from the trip I did what any good foodie would do, and I inhaled the rest of them. I mean someone has to make sure the food is being taste tested right. It's called quality control people! Now that B-Dude moved out we seem to throwing out food for the first time ever. So I either need to start half batching, or eating more. I vote for eating more, but my pants held a summit and voted against me. Damn them.

If you dig these little beauties make sure you head over to Generation Y Foodie today and check them out. The recipe is on her site and I encourage you all to make them and then send me bags of money as a thank you. And yes I take large bills.

While you are visiting Dara make sure you follow her blog, then stalk her on Twitter, Pinterest, G+ and Facebook. Your tummy will thank me. Your pants probably will too.

    Toodles and smoochies! xx

The pictures are fine - BUT... you haven't written the recipe details
: i.e List of ingredients, How to mix/how long to beat, how long to bake/ or to put in freezer/ or fridge? bake? Maybe the easiest way is to go out and buy a cake!!! I'll let you know. Pauline

Wow, Pauline you have the distinct pleasure of being my first rude comment. Two years, pretty good record I suppose.

It's a guest post. There's a link to the site where the recipe is featured. The title says it's a guest post for Gen Y Foodie. The post says it's a guest post for Gen Y Foodie and there's at least two links pointing to the post at Gen Y Foodie. There's no confusion for any one who took the time to read, it's stated in multiple places including the post title.

        Good luck with the cake.
