Some of my favourite frozen treats recipes!

Today we are spending the day as a family. It's our last official day with all 4 of us living of under one roof.

Hubs is not coming on our road trip with us. He has to work and since he's a contract worker he can't get time off. So today is our last day to hang out, maybe take some family pics and let's be honest Mom is probably going to bawl like a baby a whole bunch. Tomorrow we hit the road for our adventure to the wild west. So it's B-Dude's farewell to his dad and our last day to enjoy time with our little family. Once we get back things will never be quite the same. It's a necessary thing for kids to grow up and move on though. I know he is going to make his mark on the world. He's going to enjoy his freedom and independence. Me on the other hand, well, I wish he'd find his freedom and independence in the same city or something. *rubs her eyes a little*

So today is a special treat. All frozen treats for you to whip up for the last hot days of summer. I think you will enjoy this one. All my frozen treats are super easy to make and taste amazing. See for yourself!

So hope this got you inspired to go whip up a cool treat. All of these recipes are super easy to make. They sure can cool you down when it's wicked hot outside. Heck I eat frozen goodies all year round. They are just too good not to.

This was the last top 10 post in the series. I appreciate you all being so understanding while we spend some precious time together as a family. A couple of weeks from now both the kids will be off doing their "school thing" so I can resume normal blogging duties. To everyone who has still stayed loyal and left comments while I've pulled somewhat of a Houdini routine I thank you. It's folks like you that kept me putting up posts instead of just hanging up an "on vacation" sign on the blog.

Now tomorrow you get more fun stuff. I've arranged for some of my fave bloggers to come help out while I'm gone. So tomorrow kicks off the festivities with a very special person guest posting for me. I will not tell you who it is, only that this blogger makes me howl with laughter. I am almost scared what is going to go down here tomorrow. It's likely to be chaos in my absence, but I guarantee you'll have the time of your life! As for me I'll be up before the crack of dawn, driving off through the big bad city then on to the open roads. Cross fingers our estimated date of arrival is right. We're hoping to hit the west in 3 days. Lofty goal I know but we need 5 days in Alberta. We have an even loftier goal of trying to get home in 2 days. Um, yah, er, not sure how this is all going to play out. But mini-me needs to be back for school. Wish us luck on our adventures. I'll be sure to post some pics along the way. I'll miss you guys and will try to check in once a day while I'm gone. I won't have time to comment on other blogs during the trip but I will make time to read and reply to comments when I have some downtime.  Now get in the kitchen and whip up some treats. Why? Well, cuz Lunie said so. Plus it's hot out there today so cold treats are the way to go. Hop to it.

    Toodles and smoochies! xx

Have a great last day at home with all of you there! And drive safely - that's one heck of a road trip you're on. (The return is 2 days? Wow.) Great roundup of treats today, and looking forward to the guest posts!
