Being a food blogger is a pretty cool gig. I get to create recipes and indulge in my love of food for a living. Eating great food is important to me. So it's no surprise I also like to feed my cats well too. A diet rich in salmon and chicken is a must.Â
Those who know me know that I'm a huge pet lover. We have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 1 bird, and two horses. I love my pets and they are such a big part of my life. They are family members to me, pure and simple. They're my fur-kids.Â
So it should come as no surprise that I enjoy feeding my pets great quality food, just like we eat. We're huge salmon and chicken fans in our household, so of course our cats are going to eat salmon and chicken too.Â
Meow Mix Bistro provides my kitties a gourmet diet that keeps them happy and healthy. It also makes me feel like a great pet Mom. That's important to me. I like to know I'm giving them gourmet style food.
I'll be honest, I completely spoil my cats. Treating them well makes me happy. I love to have them try new foods, so I was pleased as punch to introduce them to NEW Meow Mix Bistro.
The product can be found at your local Walmart and will also be available on Walmart.com soon. For now, you can find out more about Meow Mix Bistro Recipes here.

People always ask me how I can handle having so many pets. When we got cat #4 people thought we were crazy. Let me explain a little something about being a cat person. You love them so completely and you have so much room in your heart that you want to help them all.
We're lucky enough to own our home, and it has lots of room for pets. I also happen to be lucky enough to work from home, so I'm here all the time to take care of my pets. They're with me all the time. They come downstairs when I do laundry, they hang out with me while I work, they sit nearby while I cook. They are with me constantly.
I love that companionship. Cats make excellent companions. Mine are not the kind of cats to sit in your lap. They're lurkers. They sit nearby and watch you while you do your daily routine. Then when they feel you're worthy they head over to let you know you're lucky enough to be able to pet them in that moment.
They rule the household most days. They keep the dogs in line, they keep me happy, and they have taught my kids about companionship, compassion, and unconditional love. I think that's a fair trade off for keeping them in the lap of luxury like they demand. I'm thrilled to own them and feel lucky each one has come into my life.
In order from left to right, Dixon the Kitten, Spike, Castiel, and Spark. They heard my daughter come down the stairs and two of them got wildly distracted. They love her to bits.
That's Spark in the photo above, he's doing his best supermodel pose. Pretty good, right!
Thanks for tuning in today. I love sharing photos of our furry family members. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
