Made these last night. So this one is probably not even worth of blogging about but thought I'd pop it on here anyway. I would guess most people know how to do these. But just in case I'll pop up some easy instruction on the quickest meal you could possibly make. Great when busy with the kids, after soccer or hockey or riding. Some days you just want fast. These fit the the fast category and the yummy one as well. Load them up with whatever you like. Mine will look like naked pizzas but they aren't. The toppings are under the cheese. I prefer mine under as opposed to on top of the cheese. Except peppers and bacon when I use them. They must go on the top. Yes, my name is Kim and I have weird food quirks.

    Pita Pizza:

    Ingredients:

Pizza sauce (I use pasta sauce and mix in a couple teaspoons of sugar)
    2 tablespoons sugar
    Pepperoni, sliced
Ham, thin sliced ham cut into pieces
    Mozzarella cheese-LOTS! (shredded)
    Parmesan cheese
Pitas- you can use whatever kind you like. We prefer the thin Lebanese style for most things, including pizza.

    Optionals:
    Peppers
    Sausage
    Bacon
    Mushrooms
    Onions
    Pineapple
    Anything you love on pizza!

    Directions:

Cut up the pepperoni and ham. Also any other toppings should be cut up and set aside.

Mix up pizza sauce. I tend to use pasta sauce and add some sugar to sweeten it up. You could add basil or oregano or garlic if you like.

Lay down pitas on cookie sheets. I did 3 sheets with 2 pitas on each one.

Spoon on and spread the pizza sauce over the pitas.

    Add ham and pepperoni.

Sprinkle on parmesan to taste. We like alot of parmesan.

    Toss on mozzarella cheese generously.

Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for about 10-14 minutes depending how crisp you like them. I do mine for about 10, but hubby's I do for about 13/14 minutes.

    Serve.

Photos missing due to a G+ incident. Will be restored soon!
