I love game day food. I also really love crafts and easy DIY projects. So when I had the opportunity recently to combine my love of both I was one happy girl.
The kicker was the shopping trip to prep for my game day fun. I hit Target and let’s just say I got my happy on. For those who read the blog regularly you know I adore shopping at Target.
You can use the Cartwheel App to get discounts on M&M’s and Snickers at Target for your own football themed party. If you have never used the Cartwheel App I highly recommend it.
Being able to hit up one store to buy all the supplies I could possibly need is a dream come true. It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon. I picked up everything I needed for my football party.
I grabbed tons of M&M’s, as well as Snickers NFL Minis which are exclusive to Target. Then I picked up all the supplies for the football themed bags. They are SO fun to make.
People love having their own snack bags at parties. They can grab what they want and snack happy to their heart’s content. You can mix different things in the bags or do each candy separately.
You can also put out huge jars of candy and let people fill their own Football Themed Snack Bags. I love putting out huge glass jars so people can see what’s inside and let them have at it.
Feel free to put out other snack items that compliment M&M’s and Snickers. I’m a sweet and salty girl so I usually like to put out potato chips as well. Candy bars and potato chips go together perfectly.
For the Football Themed Snack Bags you will need:
