More Meyer Lemon Madness. This is the last recipe in a 2 week themed event I wanted to share with my readers, called Meyer Lemon Madness.
Are you all mad yet?
Mad for Meyer Lemons?
Or sick of lemons and looking forward to me cooking up something different?
Well....
I hate to disappoint you but there's more Meyer Lemon goodness coming your way. There's a Meyer Lemon Madness finale called Meyer Lemon Recipe Round-Up. I'll share my Meyer Lemon recipes with you, as well as some by other bloggers. It's quite a collection of Meyer Lemon recipes, and I look forward to sharing that with you. I also decided to do some Meyer Lemon Desserts for Sunday Supper this week as well. I mean I do still have boatloads of Meyer Lemons people. So there's still more to come. I still need to share my Meyer Lemon Pasta, and my Meyer Lemon Bake. It's Meyer Lemon mayhem folks.
After tomorrow's post I'll give a week reprieve though. No lemon recipes for a week. How's that?
Instead I'll be sharing Grilled Cheese Week with you. Since it's the month of the classic sammie, I decided to whip up a few to share with you over the course of a week. There will be a classic, a not so classic, a spicy version and even a dessert version. So make sure you tune in next week for Grilled Cheese Week. It's sure to be a blast.
I'll also be sharing some subscriber news with you next week. I've put together a post explaining why some of you are getting duplicates and what you can do to fix it. I decided since I was doing that I would also make the shift to Feedblitz and share that info in the post as well. And just to really take it over the top I've done some fun graphics to help those who aren't sure how to navigate the site learn to do it more effectively. Cuz I love you all and want to make your visits as pleasant as possible. It's how I roll.
So lots to look forward to over the coming week. But for now more Meyer Lemon Madness. You're welcome!

This is so zesty and tangy it will knock your socks off. Plus it's such a simple recipe. Any one can make this dessert. I love recipes like that. Quick and easy is my fave way to roll.
I'd like to thank all my readers for allowing me to drive you mad with Meyer Lemon Madness these past two weeks. It's been a blast and I've enjoyed delving into the depths of Meyer Lemon Madness. For me it's not over, I still have about 30 Meyer Lemons hanging around the house. Luckily I love Meyers so they will not go to waste at all. I'm thinking Meyer Lemon and Coconut Layer Cake. I'm thinking Meyer Lemon Marmalade. I'm thinking Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette for Salad. Okay is it sad that as Meyer Lemon Madness winds down I really don't want it to end. I'm already thinking of a new theme, Meyer Lemon Mayhem folks. One woman's struggle with her meyer lemon addiction. If this is wrong, I don't want to be right.

My mouth feels all tangy just looking at those desserts! I'm not sick of meyer lemons!
Kim Beaulieu
Mine too. I'm in permanent pucker mode.
john@kitchenriffs
OK, you're now officially double royalty: both the Turtle Queen and the Meyer Lemon Queen! I love lemons, but even I'm going into overload. But of course now I get to overload on grilled cheese sandwiches next week! Really good stuff - thanks;.
Kim Beaulieu
Ha, thanks John. I'll wear those crowns with honour.
I am not sick of them yet at all. Isn't that crazy. I can't wait till hubs gets home so I can do a new lemon chicken bake. The downside to him being gone is it's hard to cook cuz it's just me and mini-me. She doesn't eat much meat, and no chicken so I find my cooking takes a hit when he's gone.
Anna @ hiddenponies
So pretty! I'm looking forward to that lemon pasta, but grilled cheese week should hold me over juuust fine 🙂
Kim Beaulieu
Thanks Anna. I love lemon pasta, it's fresh and light. Hope you enjoy Grilled Cheese Week.

I am dying for a bite of everything, I think I just snapped my spoon 😉

I finally found Meyer lemons at my local grocery store. I hate to make you drool but a bag was only 2.99! Can't wait to try these!
Kim Beaulieu
Lol, yup that's the usual price. Was it 4 in a bag? That's what we get here. Sometimes they go $3.99 but mostly $2.99. You are going to have so much fun with them.
Marg
Oh I definitely must try this. I made the Meyer Lemon Parfaits for a potluck lunch for 12 and everybody loved them. Two wanted the recipe as they were having a dinner later that week and they even borrowed my little mugs. I used the mini beer mugs instead of the shot glasses. Thank you.
Kim Beaulieu
Yah, I'm so glad you tried the parfaits. I just love those ones. Cute and yummy. So nice to hear they were a hit. If you ever make stuff again, or they do feel free to shoot me photos to my email or FB. I'd love to see pics. So happy to get positive feedback.

Hi Kim,
I saw this recipe shared by Lea Ann of Denver, CO on Google + and fell in love with it! Fantastic recipe! Thanks for sharing; now following your posts thru email. Hope you'll stop by someday too,
Roz

Thanks so much Roz. I am so glad you found me. I'll shoot by to check out your site now.

You must have gotten a truckload of meyer lemons this year! ALL of your recipes are fabulous! Wish they weren't so expensive here, I'd love to test out lots and lots of your recipes!
Kim Beaulieu
I really did. Hubs just kept showing up with more and more. He works out of town so while they are hard to find here, he found tons a couple of hours out of town. Weird how that happens. I think we paid about $2.99 for a bag of 4 on most occasions. Definitely not as cheap as regular lemons.
Ramona
I could never get sick of drooling over lemon desserts. What a wonderful triamisu treat!
Kim Beaulieu
Me either Ramona.
PapaLos @ The Man, The Chef, The Dad
you're definitely making me want to buy some of these meyer lemons! The tiramisu looks great and I think when it starts getting warmer I'm going to give this a try. Thanks!
Kim Beaulieu
They are so good. I actually froze a bunch of juice, curd and slices for when I get a craving off season.
Jennie @themessybakerblog
I'm mad, dahling, positively mad for meyer lemons! I love this recipe!
Kim Beaulieu
Me too Jennie. Just love these things.
Alice @ Hip Foodie Mom
OMG, yummmmmm! Love it! How's the family handling all these delicious Meyer lemon recipes and treats?! Wow! If they don't want anymore, please send some treats over to me! 🙂
Kim Beaulieu
Thanks Alice. My hubby is as nuts for meyers as I am so these go over really well here. I wish we lived closer. I'd stop by daily with goodies. lol
Megan @ Country Cleaver
Heavenly - just heavenly!! How is it that I have been buying regular lemons all this time? I have to try Meyer's now!
Kim Beaulieu
Ha, I'm so surprised you haven't tried them. Hopefully you can find them easily where you live. They are SO hard to come by here. We usually have to drive 45 minutes away to find them. They are sweeter than regular lemons. You have to try them Megan. They will rock your world. xx

I could spend this entire comment merely rhapsodizing about how I love lemon. This recipe is such a piece of cake---pun intended---which is why I am delighted to have discovered it and all of these
other enticing lemon recipes. Wow, bonaza!~
