I BEHAVED THEN MADE LADIES MAD BY TAKING PICTURES OF THEIR BEHINDS, NOT ON PURPOSE BUT THEY WERE STILL MAD!

HERE IS WHERE MINI-ME SCORED CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES, SHE STOLE ALL MINE, OH OKAY SO I GAVE THEM TO HER BUT THAT SOUNDS LESS EXCITING!

AND ANOTHER, THEN BOUGHT ONE OF EVERYTHING, HE REALLY LIKED ME AND MINI-ME GOT LOTS OF FREE SAMPLES!

I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THESE BUT I HAD OVERLOADED MINI-ME’S BAG AGAIN, WE WERE ON TRIP 3 TO THE CAR AT THIS POINT!

HERE’S WHERE I HAD MEMORIES OF MY MOM, SHE DID CERAMICS, WHICH IS NOT THE SAME AS POTTERY BUT THAT’S WHERE MY MIND WENT!

SO I FIGURED WALKING THROUGH THE BUILDING WITH THE FLASH GOING OFF EVERY 5 SECONDS WOULD NOT SEND HER OVER THE EDGE!

THEN OFFERED HER ICE CREAM BUT SHE DECLINED, I SNAPPED THIS ANYWAY, IT’S OUR USUAL PLACE TO STOP FOR ICE CREAM!

AND WE END THIS POST WITH THE PERFECT CAPTION FOR A GAL LIKE ME AND A FAMILY LIKE US, JUST HAD TO BUY THIS THING!!!
Toodles and smoochies! xx

What fun! I wish I could have tagged along! I would have jumped on that moped, grabbed a huge cantelope - while I wore my horse apron and ate fish and chips! 🙂
Amy
I'm eventually going to knit you a pink market bag...:) Love the gloves!
And I want to go on one of your farm fresh field trips lol you look like you have a lot of fun 🙂
Anne@frommysweetheart
You go on the best excursions! What a great combination of farm markets and crafts....and you always come back with a great haul! I'm most envious about....the antique baking tin!!! Great post Kim!
Michelle
Looks like a great trip!!
ping
What a glorious time you had! That looks like a place I could get lost in happily! Great haul you have too! Question: Why would anyone have a movable or moving display case for glass bottles? That gives me the heebie-jeebies!
Dzoli
Please to see you were there. On another groups blog I featured St.Jacobs market and people loved it;))You loved it too.I am gonna try the quetsion of yours in a cake shop on my next trip.Who knows I might score some free samples;))
Ann
What a GREAT trip! The beans are cranberry beans and Jamie Oliver has a really terrific recipe for them. It's on my list-of-things-to-make-before-I'm-too-old-to-enjoy-them!
You got quite a haul and lots of "behind" pictures! A great day...

@ConCon- I could not stop laughing at your comment.
@Amy- Oh my I would love a market bag so much. These gloves are so cool. I have shorty pink ones I use at the barn that I adore. But they are thin so I can work with the leather and whatnot. You must visit next summer and come with us on a day trip. I can marry you off to B while you're here. Lol!
@Anne- Thanks. I am so happy to finally be able to go on trips again. Been a long trip-less few years here. I now need to make up for it.
@Michelle- Thanks so much.
@Ping- Lol, it was so weird. I think they must have the bottles secured with double sided tape or something. I'd never seen one of these things. Shows how often I get out. Lol!
@Dzoli- It is such a cool place to visit. My only sad point is not seeing the authentic horse and buggies the Amish use to travel. We did last time we were there. I heard one while I was buying my apron but the lady in the store assured me that I'd see tons more due to church. We did not see any. So weird. I don't count the tour ones as it's not authentic.
@Ann- SO fun! Thank you so much. I was going to have to google those things. I am going to try them out tomorrow while they are still fresh and purty. Lol. I really did get a ton of butt shots. *sigh*
Juanita
Looks like such a fun time! Great photos. I wish we had markets with that much variety in fresh fruit here (especially the cherries and peaches!) Ironically, to eat South Africa's finest fruits, you have to go to Europe, where it's all exported to. We're left with the scraggly bits 🙁
Tina
No doubt this was a fun escapade! Looks like you brought back a lot of goodies. Now I am ready to get in the car and head for the nearest farmers market! Have a great weekend.
anne
I really LOVE to be there 😀 All that photos makes me drool and I adore that muffin tin 🙂 That raspberries makes me think of making a raspberry cheesecake ice cream but sadly raspberry here is quiet expensive pfttttt *sigh*
Lizzy
I want to come with you next time!!! You are one super shopper. I'll bring Katie along and she and mini-you can both roll their eyes at us...and refuse to be in any pictures. I can SO relate. What a fabulous haul. Have a great weekend!xoxo

That is officially the best, most jealousy invoking post I've seen in the last few days. I want that coffee! I want half (or more) of everything you got. It is so hot and dry down here in Texas I could just cry. Thanks for sharing and allowing me to pretend I was walking along with you (and I wouldn't have gotten mad if you took pictures of the butt - so long as there's no face involved, who's to know?).
Anna @ hiddenponies
Oooh, I love St. Jacob's!! When we visit my parents in Orangeville we always try to make a trip there...the market is TO DIE FOR isn't it?? And the little jam-packed antique stores in town are so fun! Love your picture tour!!
Stephanie @ Eat. Drink. Love.
Looks like you gals had a great day and got a TON of great stuff!! All that produce and the desserts look so delicious!!!
Chef Dennis
what a fun trip you had, thanks for taking us along with you! St. Jacobs sounds like such a wonderful place to spend the day at.
Hope you enjoyed your cranberry beans!

I'm pretty sure once I got to the Desserts area, I would have never moved. They'd be closing up shop and I'd still be there, in heaven.....with my husband and kids. We're dessert people, especially if chocolate is involved.
How did you even tear yourself away from that booth of amazing gourmet desserts? You've got will power!

I feel like I was there with you! Great post. PS - Living in Florida, I get a chuckle out of the "winter" coats. ;.)))))))
