9 Bloggers, 8 Weeks, and TONS of Tailgating Recipes just in time for game season!

Welcome to Week Four of our Tailgating Time Weekly Series. A bunch of us blogging buddies got together to bring you 8 weeks of game-worthy recipes that will blow your mind.

If this if your first time tuning in you can swing by to check them out:

    • Tailgating Time: Week 1
    • Tailgating Time: Week 2
    • Tailgating Time: Week 3

There is just something about Tailgate Food that makes me super happy. I think because so much of it is bite sized and I totally dig that.

I also really dig messy, cheesy recipes. So game day food ranks high on my list. All year round. Whether it's game season or not. I'm always up for tailgating food.

Another thing I dig about it is the concept of being able to grill on the fly. As many of you know I also blog over at Kiss My Smoke. So tailgating equals grilling time for me.

I'm always happy to grill, or smoke any day of the week. There's something about cooking over fire that works for me. I think because I grew up camping all the time.

My dad taught us all to cook over a campfire, how to whip up something tasty over a tiny propane tank, or how heat food up under any circumstances.

We learned how to canoe, backpack, hike, set up tents, campers, you name it, my dad prepared us for it. I always loved it. Camping with my dad was always a riot.

That's probably why I love tailgating and grilling so much. It reminds me of my childhood. I have so many happy memories of our camping trips. It was always so much fun!

I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as we all did. So many recipes.... so little time!

I concur, there's just something about football food that makes me so happy. I tend to eat like a dude so it's right up my alley. Not a big salad girl. More of a burger girl. Ha

Ha, right there with you. I love football food, but not necessarily football. I'm the one who shows up and declares proudly "I'm just here for the food".
