These easy Chocolate Marshmallow Bars are homemade candy bars for the true marshmallow lover. Perfect for holidays, or any day of the week!

How cute are these chocolate marshmallow bars? I mean, who can resist chocolate and marshmallows? Not me, that's for sure. I'm a total sucker for anything that combines chocolate and marshmallows.

You know how we all have those recipes we've been making for so long we can't even remember where we learned how to make them? This is one of mine.

Honestly, I started making them as a teenager. I have no clue where the recipe was inspired from. It's funny how some recipe origins make for amazing tales and others get lost in the void.

My thought is these were the result of coming home after a party and having the munchies so bad I raided the pantry to see what was hanging around. Some of my best recipes happened back in my misguided youth.

These are perfect for Easter, but we also make them every year at Christmas. They also work perfectly as an extra sweet on a cookie platter for your neighbours or friends.

In additions, you can make them for the sweets table at any bridal or baby shower. Just cut them into smaller pieces.

Also, keep in mind you can totally add peanuts to these. To be honest, I generally prefer them without nuts.

Just to clarify, use caution if bringing them to an event. So many people have peanut allergies so always be cautious.

You can also find these little cuties over at Food Fanatic. So head on over there to check out my Chocolate Marshmallow Bars. While you are there you can also peek at my Chocolate Caramel Hot Cross Buns and my M&M Brownies.

These are so good! I lost the recipe, but when I was in college, I made a very similar version of them that were spooned onto wax paper as opposed to making the into bars. They were always a hit and great for when something chocolate was immediately required!!

Thanks so much for sharing the with us at Project Inspire{d}!
