This tailgating time post is collection of appetizers, dishes and desserts will make planning the menu for your next football party easy and most importantly, delicious!
Welcome to Week 7 of of Ultimate Tailgating Recipe Series. This has been so much fun to participate in. I'm a sucker for football food so I'm always down for a tailgating party.
Every week we put together a round up of our very best tailgating recipes for our readers. It's so cool to see what everyone else is sharing each week. There's so much talent in this group of bloggers.
I'm not a big fan of watching sports on TV. However I love going to live games. There's something so cool about actually going and being in the moment at the venue. That's the best way to watch a game, given the opportunity.
Unfortunately that's not always possible, so the TV has to suffice. And if your guys are anything like my guy, the bigger the TV the better. I've been thinking about getting a new big screen for our basement for hubs.
Don't tell him though. It's a big Christmas Surprise. Right now the basement living room where he watches sports has a big TV, but it's old school. It's not capable of being hooked up to anything. Time for an upgrade.
I think when I invest in the new TV I may invest in a really good set of earphones for him too. Ha. Our house is small so it gets a bit hilarious when both TV sets are going. It's like a war of boom boxes... back in the day.
Our house is set up so the upstairs living room is directly above the downstairs living room. The stairs lead from one to the other so the TVs echo big time and it's like a movie theatre some days. Sound just a-booming.
So I think it's time to find ways to kill the TV sound war and maybe block the rooms off with some doors. I know our friends' house is similar and they did that. Huge success. You can't hear anything from either room.
Is it sad that I plan my decorating around the TV? Nah, I think most of us do. It's pretty normal. I wish we had a bigger house where we could have two living rooms far, far apart. And maybe a maid, a butler and pool boy.
What? A girl can dream, right!!!

I know right. I want to shove my whole head in the dip. But it's not "socially acceptable".

Oh what a great collection of tailgate recipes! Even if there's not a game on that we're going to watch, it's still fun to put out a nice spread to enjoy on a fall afternoon. I'll be doing several of these next Saturday for the Georgia-Florida game 🙂

Is it too much to ask to have all of this in front of me without actually having to make it myself? Everything looks perfect for vegging out on game day!

I'll take the maid, butler and the Red Hot Sticky Wings! Oh and the pool boy, don't forget him!
