This Butter Pecan Ice Cream is easy to make and tastes insanely good!

Butter Pecan Ice Cream served in a white bowl

I know this looks really good and you are in awe of my awesomeness.

You are probably wondering how we can eat ice cream when it's so freaking cold outside. It is a hard concept.

All I can tell you is it's warm and toasty in the house. So, that's the loophole. You now know the secret of the universe.

I probably should have kept that to myself. Er, forget I said anything. There's no loophole. Hey what's that behind you? *tries to edit quickly*

We went out to the barn today to see horsey. I was so pleased when the farrier turned up. Not because he's a total cutie-patootie but because he brought his girlfriend with him. She's an old friend of mine and mini-me's.

Mr Cutie Patootie walked in and when I stopped staring looked around there was his darling girlfriend. I adore this girl and have such fond memories of her from years past.

She is older than mini-me but she was one of the only ones who didn't care about stuff like that and took mini-me under her wing and made her feel welcome. Mini-me is very shy. Back then she was uber shy. This young gal made sure to always talk to her and I remember finding them sitting under a tree outside talking one day. I am ever grateful to Anna-Marie for always being kind to my daughter.

I had not seen her in years. We keep in touch via facebook but that's not the same. Today we got caught up. Love days like that.

Doesn't hurt to have some eye candy wandering around in the background either let me tell you. Butter Pecan Ice Cream in a white bowl

Just don't drink anything while you read. I don't want a bill in the mail to get liquid out of your computer. Lol! I actually turned my heat up tonight. It's flipping cold here today.

Hey that just ain't right. So I now declare you eye candy. Every dude needs to be eye candy in their lifetime. I'm telling you girls swoon over dudes who can cook. A guy who can cook ice cream gets marks way higher than any Brad Pitt or flavour of the month.

Could you imagine if I asked him to pose for the blog? I just might have to get the nerve next time I see him. Hey mister you don't mind a bunch of cooks drooling over your pic do you? Sad part is I will probably tell him to read this at this point. Lol!

I was painfully shy as a kid. Most of my adult life too. Now not so much. Unless it`s with big groups. Then I get a bit intimidated.

Lol, I love that line. It is so cold out right now. I can barely stand our Canuck winters any more. I need to hibernate till spring.

Mini-me was going to be one. I was all cool that's great money but you'd have old dudes staring at your bum all day every day. Be kind of weird. Now I am that old dudette staring at some young dude's bum at the barn. Lol!

What ice cream. Oh yah, that.

Okay so you have totally made me want to try making a chocolate pecan. I'll name it after you if I decide to whip one up this week. Lol! Thanks for the kind words. I love me some ice cream. What I really like about it is I can eat one sample of it and be okay. It's not something I want to eat the whole pint of. I love it but I seem to have good self control with it. Other things not so much.

Lol I was worried but I seem to be able to control myself with it unlike sweets. It's cool too cuz you can do sorbets which are healthy. I mean in theory you can, I just never seem to. Lol!

I have never done the egg ones for some reason. I am not a custard fan so think it reminds me too much of custard. Plus no cooking so it's simple.
