I love black forest cake... I love mini desserts... so it seemed like this would be an awesome way to combine the two things. Yet I swear I hit every roadblock known to bakers with this recipe. I should feel really bad about eating this decadent cherry dessert pizza. I should not be eating cherry pie pizza drizzled with chocolate when I'm suppose to be watching my diet. There is nothing I like better than a tropical theme. Well unless you count actually being in the tropics. There is just something about the smell of fresh chocolate chip cookies baking that just makes me happy and content. The scent of them just fills the house, wafting through each room until the whole house smells like a bakery. Add the lovely tropical scent of coconut to the mix and it's just sensory overload, in a good way. I can barely keep my hands off them as the finish baking.
